This block has an abrasion haze to the front facing side where you can see the red painted carbon piece. Perhaps this surface was cleaned with something abrasive, and you can see a slight haze and a few light scratches, when held up to natural light. The side edges and rear side are all without abrasion.

To most people it would not even be noticed, but it's only fair to say in advance before you make the purchase.

It's hard to actually show the haze in the pictures.

Needless to say, it's still a rare find nowadays and is priced accordingly.
