HISTORY ASPECTS:
The Sturmgeschütz III Ausführung E (StuG III Ausf.E) was one of the early variants of Germany’s highly successful assault gun series, developed to support infantry with direct firepower against enemy fortifications and positions. Built on the chassis of the Panzer III, the Ausf.E featured an improved superstructure layout and enhanced crew protection compared to earlier models. Armed with the short-barreled 75mm StuK 37 L/24 gun, it was optimized for high-explosive rounds rather than anti-tank performance. It also introduced an internal loader's compartment redesign and added a machine gun for close defense.
