    Maserati A6GCS Berlinetta 1954 – Red

The Maserati A6GCS Berlinetta is an automotive work of art. Ironically, however, it was born out of racing frustration. When torrential rains wreaked havoc on the 1952 edition of the Mille Miglia, making handling of previous A6 models a challenge, racing drivers pushed Maserati for improvements. One solution was to fit a Maserati 2000 Sport with a closed ?Berlinetta? body from Pinin Farina. The resulting masterpiece was first presented at the Turin Motor Show of 1954. With only four Pinin Farina models ever created, the A6GCS Berlinetta occupies a special place in automotive history. Automobilist is proud to honour the cars legacy with this Official Licensed Limited-Edition Design Poster.

    Porsche Gmund – Silver – 24h Le Mans – 1951 – Poster

It was Porsches first production automobile. Production of this mighty legend started in 1948 at Gm?nd, Austria, where approximately 50 cars were built. By the early 1950s the 356 had gained some renown among enthusiasts on both sides of the Atlantic for its aerodynamics, handling, and excellent build quality. The class win at Le Mans in 1951 was a factor. The date was 23 June 1951, and sixty race cars lined up at 16h00 for the start of the nineteenth running of the Le Mans 24 Hour race. Despite the difficult conditions in the race, the number 46 Porsche gave an exemplary account of itself, and over the 24-hour period the car ran without a hitch crossing the line in 20th place overall and first in the 751-1100cc class. Having covered a distance of 2840.65km, the French pairing of Auguste Veuillet and Edmond Mouche became the first racing drivers to successfully bring a Porsche race car across the finish line in the Le Mans 24-Hour race, averaging 118.36km/h for the distance. That year, just 30 cars out of the original 60 starters finished the race, as contestants endured rain for two-thirds of the race.

A symbol of hope and prosperity at the time , but a masterpiece in any era, the 3500 GT prototype not only marked Maseratis entry into the growing grand tourer market, but it also set a new benchmark for long-distance travel.

    Ferrari 250 GTO – Blue – Targa Florio – 1964 – Limited Poster

The Ferrari 250 GTO featured on this blue car poster took part in some of the most well renowned races of all time, and in 1964 it finished strong in the Targa Florio , one of the toughest endurance events in the world. Uniquely, the car was painted blue and yellow to represent its Swedish driver, Ulf Norinder. Few cars are held in such high regard as the Ferrari 250 GTO. Created between 1962-1964 by a team led by Giotto Bizzarrini, each buyer of the 39 produced had to be personally approved by Enzo Ferrari , and today, the prestige has only intensified. In order to do a car like this justice, we?ve used a luxurious, thick paper stock , and limited the production run, just like the 250 GTO itself. For all of our posters we use high quality off-set printing, premium paper, and vibrant color reproduction that stands the test of time , just like the cars themselves. Each one is limited and labeled with a special hologram sticker to denote its authenticity.

    Porsche 917 – Salzburg – 24h Le Mans – 1970 – Limited Poster

If someone were to make a list of the greatest race cars of all time, the Porsche 917 would almost certainly be on it. The car gave Porsche its first overall wins at the 24 hours of Le Mans, and became revered for its high power output with speeds in excess of 220mph. So iconic was it, that the car played a leading role in Steve McQueens 1971 film, Le Mans. But it was in the previous year, 1970, that the Porsche Salzburg 917 won the famous endurance race for the first time, driven by Hans Herrmann and Richard Attwood. That is the car depicted in our premium racing poster. Taking influence from the teams red and white livery, our Porsche Salzburg 917 poster is reproduced on high quality paper stock, with only 1000 prints made. For all of our posters we use high quality off-set printing, premium paper, and vibrant color reproduction that stands the test of time, just like the cars themselves. Lancia Stratos HF – White – Alitalia – Sanremo – 1976 – Poster

Lancia Stratos is a sports car and rally car made by Italian car manufacturer Lancia. The HF stands for High Fidelity. It was a very successful rally car, winning the World Rally Championship in 1974, 1975 and 1976. Alitalia Airlines was the perfect sponsor for this thoroughbred Italian racer. Not so much because it was often airborne, but because it was designed by Bertone (Italian), built by Lancia (Italian), and had a Ferrari engine (Italian). The Stratos yellow wheels were a nice outside-the-box accent, too.

    Bugatti T35 – Yellow – Targa Florio – 1928 – Limited Poster

    01

The Bugatti Type 35 was a phenomenally successful race car, winning over 1000 races in its time, including the Targa Florio in 1928. However, our Bugatti T35 poster does not depict the winner of that race, Albert Divo; it shows the car of fifth-placed Elizabeth Junek. Perhaps the greatest female driver of all time, Junek demonstrated that she could beat many of the worlds motoring elite. The race weve referenced in our artwork was particularly special because many of her male counterparts didnt think she was physically strong enough to be taken seriously as a competitor, but they hadnt accounted for her mental superiority. To really bring the car back to life, weve used a high quality paper stock for this limited edition of 1000 prints. For all of our posters we use high quality off-set printing, premium paper, and vibrant color reproduction that stands the test of time, just like the cars themselves. Porsche 911 RSR – Martini – Targa Florio – 1973 – Limited Poster

The Porsche 911 Carrera has always been a special car; the RS model perhaps even more so; but the Porsche RSR is really something else entirely. Tuned to produce 280 bhp at 8000 rpm, the engine is a substantial step on from the RS unit; the brake discs are borrowed from the 917; and the wheels are much wider too. All this adds up to a racing superstar, and the 1973 Targa Florio winner, driven by Gijs van Lennep and Herbert M?ller, which weve depicted in this Porsche 911 RSR poster. Taking influence from both the cars Martini livery, and the colorful 1970s, our poster is reproduced on high quality paper, with only 911 limited copies available. For all of our posters we use high quality off-set printing, premium paper, and vibrant color reproduction that stands the test of time, just like the cars themselves. The phenomenal Maserati 250F carried the equally incredible Juan Manuel Fangio to what many consider to be one of the greatest victories in racing history in 1957. The German Grand Prix at the N?rburgring ended up being the pinnacle of Fangios legendary career, where he showed the world what he was really capable of. Even after a disastrous pit stop, he was able to string together a succession of 10 awe-inspiring laps in the 250 F, breaking the lap record a total of 9 times, and overtaking both Peter Collins and Mike Hawthorn to take first place. The Maserati 250F poster from the Colors of Speed collection depicts this historic car. Auto Union Type D – Silver – 1939 – Poster

The Silver Arrows name is synonymous with success. Mercedes-Benz still uses the term today, but the story really began in the 1930s when the German press initially dubbed the dominant Mercedes-Benz and Auto Union Grand Prix racing cars between 1934 and 1939 as the Silver Arrows. In order save weight, both manufacturers stripped the paint off the bodywork, revealing the silver aluminum underneath. Considered to be a dream car by many, our Auto Union Type D poster from the Silver Arrows Project shows off the curves of the 1939 Auto Union Type D, and is printed on suitably high quality stock. For all of our posters we use high quality off-set printing, premium paper, and vibrant color reproduction that stands the test of time, just like the cars themselves. Each one is limited and labeled with a special hologram sticker to denote its authenticity.
