Description
This 1-of-1 artwork is created by applying hand-cut coloured vinyl pieces to a replica Vitaloni Californian-Style wing mirror and then finished with a clear-coat lacquer.
The artworks take days of meticulously hand-cutting different shapes from coloured vinyl to depict a reflection of the car in the wing mirror, as seen if being closely followed on the track. The mirror bodywork/shell is also covered in hand-cut vinyl to accentuate the hi & lo-lights that flow across the curves of the surface. This style of mirror was universally used by competition cars of the period.
