  • Manufactured as an officially licensed product by GeminiJets as a limited edition, highly collectible model, this Qatar Airways Boeing 777-300ER - Registration A7-BAC - with Flaps Down - painted in its 25th Anniversary livery - has been meticulously recreated from Boeing's blueprints and features realistic landing gear and detailed graphics, assuring the utmost accuracy and superior quality. A Display Stand is included.
  • During the early 1980s, several of Boeing's customers approached the manufacturer to develop a smaller airliner that would handle higher passenger loads than the 767-300 yet be smaller than the 747 aircraft.
  • With the design finalized in 1989, the official launch customer, United Airlines placed an order for 34 777-200 aircraft (with an option for 34 additional aircraft) in October 1990.
  • The first 777-200 entered service and took to the skies with United Airlines on May 17, 1995, forever changing passengers' perception of comfort and efficiency in air travel. Since then, the 777 has taken on a new role as the replacement aircraft for Boeing's now discontinued 747-100, -200 and -300 series aircraft.
  • With a newer, refined wing and more powerful engines, the 777 has now entered its second generation of development with enhanced versions of the original aircraft, identified as the 777-200LR, 777-300ER and the 777F, which is a dedicated version of the aircraft designed specifically for freight operations using the 777-200LR as its base for development.
