Synergy Motorsport Art

My name is Tamara Ivancova and I create intricate motorsport paper art using the technique of quilling.

Quilling consists of using thin strips of paper and bonding them to the backpiece along their thin edge. It is essentially painting with paper. Each strip of paper can be considered a single thin paint stroke, and it takes many thousands of them to complete one piece.

I discovered this technique during the time I was working at AlphaTauri F1 team, which led me to combine my passion for motorsport and art, to create unique, striking and complex pieces.

Besides this, I a a full time engineering student and I design and build one of a kind RC vehicles whilst completing my Aeronautics and Astronautics degree.
