Fernando Alonso has won the Formula 1 World Drivers' Championship twice in 2005 and 2006 , the FIA World Endurance Championship once in 2019 , the 2018 and 2019 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 24 Hours of Daytona . In F1 , he has competed for the Minardi , Renault , McLaren and Ferrari teams, this being his team from 2010 to 2014. He left Ferrari after that year and in 2015 he returned to McLaren with Honda , until 2018, where He retired at the end of the season. Starting in 2021, Alonso returned to Formula 1 with the Alpine F1 Team and for the 2023 season he will race with the Aston Martin F1 team, where he will have Lance Stroll as a teammate. Sergio Pérez , also known as Checo , began his career in single-seaters in 2004. Three years later he was champion of the British Formula 3 National Class. He debuted in GP2 Series in 2009 and the following year he was runner-up with Addax Team. He made his Formula 1 debut in 2011 with Sauber . In the following season he achieved three podiums and moved to McLaren for 2013. After a season with the British team, he was hired by Force India , which later became Racing Point .
