2007 Honda F1 titanium suspension component.

Great example of the complex CNC machining that goes into a modern F1
car. Would make an excellent desk paperweight or conversation piece.

Laser etched part number : 1070-C01-0076/1

This part is a titanium pushrod, this part feeds the suspension loads into the dampers and by adjusting this you are able to alter the cars ride height (this is critical to the set-up of the car), to further aid the engineers working on the cars this part also has a load sensor built into it.

From the RA107 F1 cars which were driven by Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello.

Intricately CNC machined from a single billet of aerospace quality titanium
alloy, for this grade of titanium the billet alone would have cost thousands of
£ / $, and with the level of machining involved in producing it you are looking
at a part which would have originally cost in the region of $10k to design /
develop and produce (there's a reason F1 cars cost between $15 > $50 million
to build).

Supplied in a black card gift box, along with a laminated information card.
It's also shown next to a 1/2" spanner for scale, sorry but that won't be
included with your order, however we can also supply these if you really want
one too!

Certain to give the new owner a great talking point if display on their desk
or in their home.

The F1 racecar that it was originally used on can also be seen in the one of
