Description
Large 14" 'statement' wall clock made from a race used Le Mans 24 hr racecar carbon brake disc / rotor.
To build this particular clock I have added a piece of 2x2 twill weave carbon fibre that has a very high gloss finish to
the centre of the brake disc and then finished it off with stainless steel bolts.
The silver numbers / detailing are sprayed painted
onto the disc and then sealed several coats of clear lacquer for
protection.
These discs also cost around £2000 each when new!!
Previously used on a Oreca 07 LMP2 car which has driven by John Farano, Bruno
Senna & Arjun Mani in the 24 hour Le Mans race in 2019.
