2005 BAR Honda V10 engine exhaust headers inconel manifold race used F1 part rare Formula 1 large mechanical engineering display

Race used inconel exhaust manifold from the 2005 BAR (British American Racing) Formula 1 car which was powered by a V10 Honda F1 engine & driven by Jenson Button & Takuma Sato.

A stunning example of the precision engineering that goes into a modern F1 racecar.

The original costs of such complex components are very difficult to ascertain, but based on the materials used and the cost of comparable parts from other racecars it wouldn't be unreasonable for the team to have paid in the region of £50k to £60k for a part such as this! They are typically only used for 1 race weekend too.

Due to its large size (it measure approx 26" / 66cm in length) if would make a great display item for any F1 parts collector.
